Looking For A Volunteering Opportunity?

Calling out to the next generation of tech, we want you! SpacePortX are offering new volunteer opportunities to help grow the Manchester tech community.

Currently, we have two volunteering opportunities available, Office volunteer and and Events manager.

We're looking for someone with who keeps an eye on tech, loves digital and has the urge to one day run a startup. As a SpacePortX volunteer  you'll have access to one of the best tech networks in Europe, can attend the best tech events in Manchester and will learn first hand what it's like to be a part of a startup. In return for your work, you'll receive:

• A space to work
• Mentoring
• Digital Marketing skills

You'll be responsible for supporting the day to day management of SpacePortX. You'll be expected to work independently, be a friendly face in the space and community and get involved with the chaos and mayhem that happens in the hub of Manchester's tech community. This volunteering experience can be completely flexible to your schedule and time commitments and will be predominantly working hours.

Events Manager

If you're looking to meet the people behind Manchester's tech scene, the people who run some of Manchester's most successful startups and have first hand access to Manchester's tech events then this is the volunteering opportunity for you. As an events manager, you'll be expected to work independently at tech events at SpacePortX and make sure that the events run smoothly, whether that's making sure beers are cool or manning the door. As a SpacePortX volunteer, you'll receive:

• Access to tech events
• Mentoring
• Digital Marketing skills

This work expeirence role will run mainly in the evening and will be subject to the events running at SpacePortX.
