Manchester Social Entrepreneurs is a monthly meetup founded by the wonderful George and co-organised with Vim, to encourage social entrepreneurs to network, discuss their projects, opinions and ideas that will help #changetheworld.

One of the things that is most commonly misunderstood about social enterprises, is that they’re not charities. Nope. Certainly not. They just operate their businesses in a way that creates an impact in the world we live in, it’s consuming with a conscience and a sustainable way of making a profit.

Manchester’s up and coming social enterprises regularly attend Manchester Social Entrepreneurs including Clearly So, Get Out And Give, Nelfie, IMPACT and Objectives First to name a few - and networking with the founders of these enterprises really provides you with an indepth insight to the world of social entrepreneurship. Manchester Social Entrepreneurs have held over 6 meetups, each having a different theme and presentation. The format is kept quite simple - a short presentation followed by casual networking.
